Transfer: Sadio Mane ‘Set To Join’ Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr

Bayern Munich forward Sadio Mane is on the verge of joining Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Nassr, as per recent reports.

Reports in the media suggest that the 31-year-old could become the latest superstar to ride the Saudi wave, with a deal already in place.

L'Equipe states that Mane has agreed to join the Riyadh-based giants just a year after his £35 million move from Liverpool to Bayern.

During his first season at the Allianz Arena, Mane struggled to leave a lasting impression, managing to score only seven times in 25 league appearances. Additionally, it's been reported that the Senegal international is not in Thomas Tuchel's plans for the upcoming season, per Football Transfers.

Mane's move to Al-Nassr will undoubtedly be a significant coup for the club, who have already secured the signings of UEFA Champions League finalist Marcelo Brozovic and RC Lens captain Seko Fofana.

Furthermore, transfer market specialist Fabrizio Romano confirms that Al-Nassr is edging closer to adding Manchester United's Alex Telles to their star-studded squad after finishing as runners-up in the 2022-23 Saudi League.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel has provided insights into Sadio Mane's future, addressing recent reports linking the player away from the German champions.

Various sources suggest that Mane has been informed by the club's hierarchy that he is not part of their plans for the upcoming season, leading to speculation of a potential move to Saudi Arabia.

In response to these rumours, Tuchel has finally addressed Mane's status at the club, breaking his silence on the matter.
