Nigerian singer Reckon drops new single ' Jesus Did It Again' [Download]

A fast-rising Nigerian U.S base singer, Otu Okon Ukam, popularly known as Reckon, has finally dropped his new single titled "Jesus Did It Again".

After so many years the "Eyes On You" crooner is back with a gospel banger, this time the POP/RnB singer said the song is to give thanks to God almighty for all he has done and has been doing in his career as a singer.

The Nigerian born singer hails from Cross River State, Nigeria. Reckon started making music at a very early age, he began going to the studio in 2011 where he recorded few songs, but his most hit song "Eyes On you" was recorded in 2012.

Eyes On you has been played on some local radio stations, making waves across Nigeria and beyond. 

Speaking with THEWATCH NEWS, Reckon said, "Eyes on you" made him known by many Nigerians before relocating to Dubai, UAE where he lives for a couple of years and later moved to the United States Of America to pursue his dream.

DO YOU HAVE ANY PLANS TO DROP THE VIDEO OF "JESUS DID IT AGAIN" THIS YEAR?

Yes. But for now, I want the audio to trend before talking about the video which the new track is currently on all the online music stores and ready for download.

WHICH UNITED STATES ARTIST WOULD YOU LIKE TO WORK WITH?

For now, I really do not have anyone in mind but if am to feature I think my first choice would be Travis Green.

ARE YOU CURRENTLY SIGNED TO ANY RECORD LABEL?

 




No. I have my own record label which is called COME MONEY MUSIC [ CMM].

It is really easy for me because I started music production while I was still in Nigeria. Now that I am in the United States, I have my own music studio so I can easily produce a beat whenever the inspiration comes and I do not have to start running to the studio, paying a producer for my work.

IN THE NEXT FIVE YEARS WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE YOURSELF?

Hmmm, only God knows. But with faith and believing in my dreams, I say in the next five years I will see myself as one of the top POP/RNB singer winning many Grammy awards.
