Presidential jet, not your family property — Femi Falana tells Buhari

Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Mr. Femi Falana, has reacted over the presidency move to allowing President Buhari's children and use the Presidential jet.



Falana reaction came hours after Garba Shehu  said wife and children of the President, Muhammadu Buhari, have the right to use the Presidential jet when they need to.



In a statement  said that the private use of the Presidential Jet by members of President Buhari’s immediate family, is not in accordance with law.









Falana on Sunday has urged President Buhari to stop his family, wife and children from using the aircraft within the presidential fleet.



Our correspondent (Eric Patrick) learnt that yesterday 11th of January 2020    The Presidency says the wife and children of the President, Muhammadu Buhari, have the right to use the Presidential jet when they need to.



However, the statement was made and signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, on Saturday.









Shehu was reacting to criticisms from some Nigerians on social media who said the President Buhari's family should not be allowed to use the Presidential jet.



Our correspondent (Eric Patrick) gathered that President Buhari allowed his daughter, Hanan, to use the Presidential jet to attend a private function in Bauchi on Thursday.
