Fani Kayode blasts Nigerians over Ukrainian plane crash by Iran

A Former Minister of Aviation, Femi-Fani Kayode, has on Saturday lambasted on Nigerians on social media for attacking him over his prediction on the Iran missile that shot down Ukrainian jet that killed all 176 aboard.



"Our correspondent (Eric Patrick) learnt that Iran admits it shot down Ukranian plane by mistake."



The Former Minister said on his verified Twitter account @realFFK, Finally, the beasts have confessed. I ask again, where are the low-life's on @Twitter that insulted me when I said the Iranians shot down the plane moments after it came down?Listen to the voice of the voiceless & learn!









The President of Iran, Hassan Rouhani, has on Saturday apologise for the mistake made by the Iranian Forces and promised to persecutes those who fired the missile that took the lives 176 innocent people.



On the President's verified Twitter account @HassanRouhani he wrote;The Islamic Republic of Iran deeply regrets this disastrous mistake. My thoughts and prayers go to all the mourning families. I offer my sincerest condolences.



Our correspondent (Eric Patrick) learnt that Iran launched the missiles to target the US troops military base housing for the retaliation of Soleimani's death, the Iranian top general who was killed by a drone airstrike ordered by US President, Donald Trump on 3rd of January 2020.









Donald Trump claimed, Soleimani was a terrorist and responsible for the death of thousands Iranians and US citizens.



Soleimani's death caused controversies as over 18 Iranians were stampede on the day of his funeral, our correspondent ( Eric Patrick ) learnt.
