An icon and founder of Thewatch News, an online news platform Mr. Eric Patrick is today celebrating his birthday.

He was born from a family of three [3], he is the last child from Mr/miss Patrick Ndifon.

When he was 10, he lost his father Mr. Patrick Ndifon who was a Businessman and a Nigerian politician. In 2019 he announced the death of his mother Mrs, Bassey Ndifon who was a Nigerian Army officer. she died protecting, fighting for the country Nigeria.

The Nigerian journalist who is from Etung LGA of Cross River state started his career in 2016 when he founded the online news platform THEWATCH NEWS.

So far, he has reported for Vanguard Newspaper, The Nation, Punch Newspaper, Clearview TV and many others.

Mr. Eric Patrick has contributed tremendously in our society today and in the media houses, he has worked for. Also, teaching many Nigerian youths more on social Journalism.

Briefing journalists and bloggers this morning in his residential home he said. I started as a blogger in 2015 due to joblessness but then I never knew the future has something for me until I got my first appointment with Vanguard newspaper.

I gave my all, time and money, I was discouraged by many but I said to myself, if many others can make it through doing this then I can make it too. Little by little, I started getting live adverts and going for radio interviews which my first was in Enugu state with Dream FM.

To make the story short, I was not discouraged because giving up was not an option, I have not arrived yet, I am still going and I must surely get there.

We Thewatch News team, we are saying, Happy Birthday sir.
