Our correspondent [Eric Patrick] gathered that Hope Uzodinma raised the issue with Buhari because Imo was ‘financially distressed’.
"My visit to you Mr, President is to ask for a refund of the N32billion spent on Federal Government’s projects Imo is financially distressed,” he said.
However, Uzodinma’s immediate predecessor, Mr Emeka Ihedioha, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, is contesting the Supreme Court judgment that sacked him in January.
The state governor added that the people of Imo state are suffering, begging Buhari to give him listening ears on the matter.
