“I Bought Fuel Worth N1.2 Million For my Car, And it is Still Half Full” - Skit Maker Ashmusy

Ashmusy, a Nigerian content creator who is well known for her content, has expressed her concern about the rising cost of petrol in the country.

Since the removal of subsidies, the pump price of petrol has increased to N568 per litre, and has now reached N617 per litre.

In an Instagram post, Ashmusy vented her frustration, claiming she spent N1.2 million on gasoline for her car, yet it still had half a tank left.

“I just bought fuel of 1.2m for my car, and it’s still half tank  Somebody save me  daddy please ,” she wrote.

It was clear that her statement was intended as a joke, but some netizens took it seriously and criticized her for being insensitive.

Reacting an Instagram user @chioma wrote, “Na everything these people they use chase clout”

“This people go just Dey cap nonsense, weyrey gbogbo yin, even if your tank is 100litre tank, full tank is still #61,700, what’s all these lies nau”, another user added.

“Nawa for Nigerians! Shege no make una sabi when person Dey joke again. She’s obviously catching cruise nau”, Hallucia wrote.
