Femi Kayode mocks Atiku, PDP over Supreme Court judgment on Tinubu, Shettima nomination

A former minister of aviation, Femi Kayode, has lashed on the People Democratic Party (PDP), and its February 2023, presidential candidate, Atiku after the Supreme court dismisses suit against Tinubu, Shettima double nomination.

The apex court thus affirmed that the duo of the All Progressives Congress were eligible to contest the presidential election held on February 25.

In an appeal marked SC/CV/501/2023, the opposition party sought Tinubu’s disqualification on grounds of the double nomination of his vice in the race, Shettima.

The party claimed that the vice president-elect, Shettima was nominated twice, both for the Borno Central Senatorial seat and for the Vice Presidential position.

PDP argued that Shettima’s dual nomination was in gross breach of the provisions of Sections 29(1), 33, 35 and 84(1) and (2) of the Electoral Act, 2022, as amended.

They prayed the court to nullify Tinubu’s and Shettima’s candidacy.

The former minister on his verified Twitter accout wrote; Atiku Abubakar and his Peoples Destruction Party's nonsense case has finally been dismissed at the Supreme Court.

I bet he and his team are shedding tears right now because they were unable to pervert the course of justice and intimidate or compromise the Judges.

Once again we have won and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu comes out on top.

Glory be to God! Let us hope that this will put to rest the rabid lust for power of the Obidients and the Atikulators.

Let us pray that the obsessive desperation and conspiratorial disposition of the confused and pitiful bunch of sorry losers, hopeless deplorables and insufferable court jesters collectively known as "the opposition" to scuttle the swearing-in of our President-elect through foul and any other means ceases as from today.

Let us hope that they finally accept Asiwaju as being the will and purpose of God for Nigeria and that they stop fighting it and sheath their swords.

However if they persist in their tomfoolery and clownish behaviour and refuse to accept this reality then let them all go to blazes and hang.

Whether they like it or not the inauguration and swearing-in of the new President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria will take place on Monday.

Praise the Lord!
