Fruit farmer murdered in her farm in Ondo

Yet-to-be-identified assailants have murdered a middle-aged woman identified as Roseline Joguntan in Igbokoda, in the Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State.

The deceased was said to be working on her fruit farm on Saturday when she was attacked and killed.

The deceased’s husband reported the case to the police after he could neither find nor reach her on phone.

The spokesperson of the Ondo State Police Command, Funmilayo Odunlami confirmed the incident.

 

She said that police investigation is ongoing to fish out those who committed the wicked act and bring them to book.

Also reacting to the incident, the Commander of Amotekun corps in the state, Adetunji Adeleye, disclosed that a team has been drafted to the area to do a manhunt for those who killed the lady.
