Nigerian DJ Babus die of COVID19 as celebrities mourn



Nigerian Celebrities have reacted to the news of the death of a popular Disc Jockey, Babatunde Bello aka DJ Babus who died of COVID-19.

DJ Babus died on Friday morning after a protracted battle with the disease.

The deceased was once Talent Manager at KnightHouse, The Creative Entertainment Company where popular acts like Mo Cheddah, Phenom rose to stardom.

Reacting to his death, music producer DJ Klem took to Twitter to express how hurt he was by the news.

 



He said, “Babus. This one hurt. This one really hurt. Rest well brother.”

The winner of the 2020 BBNaija reality TV show, Olamilekan Agbelese aka Laycon tweeted, “RIP DJ Babus.”

OAP Kemi Smallzz tweeted, “You were such an amazing and sweet guy. We spoke on the radio in December and made plans to eat Jollof on the beach, sigh! Sleep well”

Singer Emma Nyra who couldn’t believe the news, said, “My God, tell me it’s not true.”
