Five schoolchildren allegedly killed by suspected armed secessionists at Mother Franscisca International Bilingual in Kumba, Cameroon.

According to an eyewitness who plead to remain anonymous told THEWATCH NEWS Nigeria that the schoolchildren were in their classrooms when the gunmen stormed the school premises and open fire at them killing five and living dozens hospitalised.

Our correspondent learnt that the killing of the schoolchildren was as a result of disobeying the government order after demanding all schools in Kumba to remain closed due to the Anglophone crisis in the country.

However, the Cameroon government has refused seeking supports from African countries to curb the ongoing crisis that has taken many lives in the country.

Our source revealed that, the government last year called for a dialogue but did not work.

THEWATCH NEWS gathered that, many have been killed, arrested and dozens internally displaced.

According to reports, over 10,000 Cameroonians have leave their homes turn refugees in cross River state, a state in Nigeria that shares border with Cameroon.

Our correspondent report that for the past four years, schoolchildren have not returned to school in some regions.

The Anglophone war has been going on for the past four years as over fifteen thousand ( 15,000) have died.

In Cameroon, they speak French and English as the English spoken part which is called the Ambazonia want dividend.

The country with 10 regions and 24 million people which is one of the smallest country in Africa has been going through this crisis for years as the government and security agencies are yet to bring normalcy in the country.
