Covid-19: BREAKING: Buhari extends stay at home order, promise to support Nigerians

President Buhari has today announced the extension of the stay at home order for another 14 days to help curb the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria.

The affected states are Lagos state where the virus first emerged, Ogun state and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

"The president, who addressed Nigerians today said his government is doing everything possible to support heath care workers who are making sure citizens are safe.

According to Buhari, he is doing everything he can to keep Nigerians safe in this critical time of global pandemic.

However, the stay at home order was first given by the president since March, 30th, 2020 which the three major states where affected, Lagos, Ogun and the Federal Capital Territory.

Buhari, however, congratulated health care workers, security personnel and those who contributed to support the Federal Government in this time global panicking.

Our correspondent ( Eric Patrick ) gathered that Nigerian has recorded 325 cases with 10 deaths since the Coronavirus outbreak.

"According to the World Health Organisation ( WHO), United States of America has recorded over 558, 500 cases with 22.860 deaths.
