BREAKING: I'll protect Nigerians against Coronavirus, says Buhari

The Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari, has responded to rumours that says he is responsible for inviting 15 Chinese doctors to Nigeria to help combat the spread of the deathly Coronavirus pandemic in the country.

According to the president he said, " I didn't in invite the Chinese doctors to help us at this critical time, he said."

Nigerians thinks I don't see all what have been going on and the increase of the Coronavirus pandemic in the country. I have put together measures to help and protect Nigerians, i am a good president and it's my duty to protect my people, he added.

However,  reports says it that the Federal Government of Nigeria has brought in fifteen (15) Chinese doctors to help combat the spread of the disease in Nigeria.

This, however, has caused controversies in the country as Nigerians are blaming Buhari for the spread of the virus in Nigeria adding that his government has crippled the Nigeria health sector.

"There has been confirmed cases in other parts of Nigeria as the spread of the disease spread so fast."

"The Nigerian government has ordered a one month lockdown and ban more than five gathering, advises Nigerians to keep social distancing."

"Our correspondent ( Eric Patrick) gathered that Buhari granted amnesty to five ex-convicts among whom are Late Professor Ambrose Ali, Late Chief Anthony Enahoro, Ex Lt. Col Moses Effiong, Major E. J Olanrewaju and Mr Ajay I Olusola Babalola.

Speaking at a news conference in Abuja, Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, explained that after the release of the first phase of inmates, the committee on Presidential amnesty will continue to meet regularly to consider those who deserve the benefit.
