BREAKING: The New York Times is a dead paper, says Donald Trump

The United States President, Donald Trump, has on Sunday lambasted on The New York Times newspaper for poor journalism and attacking his government.



Trump, made this statement on his verified Twitter account @realDonaldTrump.



According to the US president, The New York Times is an embarrassment to journalism.



Donald Trump, claimed that they were a dead paper before he went into politics and they will be a dead paper after he leave, which will be in five years. fake news is the enemy of the people he added.









The United States President Donald Trump has vow to make The New York Times a dead paper.



"Trump, said the paper is known for spreading fake news and for giving his administration a bad name."



Our correspondent (Eric Patrick) learnt that The New York Times has sent a message of apology to  the president.



However, Trump's tweet has caused controversies on social media as many Americans are descending on the president for making such statement in public.
