Nigeria set to host beauty West Africa exhibition









All is now set for the hosting of Beauty west Africa exhibition 2019, the event which brings practitioners in the beauty industry together under one umbrella is expected to gather over 200 exhibitors from within and outside Africa.



Tagged ‘’Exploring The Beauty Industry’’ the organizers of the event say,it will be an avenue for practitioners the world over to relay and highlight the challenges facing the industry whilst also serving as a platform for interfacing and by extension networking.



The event which is in its second edition will witness over 200 beauty companies onsite from across USA, Europe,  Middle East and Africa. It will also feature talks from the industries as well as leading bloggers , VIPs and influencers, all these are meant to give the industry a facelift.









Beauty West Africa will also serve as an avenue where latest beauty products will be showcased by local and foreign beauty industry practitioners, whilst also giving exhibitors the ample opportunity to see ,sample and test the latest innovations and trends in the industry.



Exhibitors will also showcase products across make up, hair care, skincare, perfumes and fragrances, spa, professional equipments and more to thousands of visitors that will grace the occasion.



Addressing pressmen at the beauty West Africa  media parley , Mrs  Tokunbo Chiendu CEO Compass Global, posited that the exhibition will promote beauty business and increase Nigeria’s GDP by 150% .



She added that, the Country’s large population puts it in a vantage position to explore the beauty industry and create employment from it.









Moreso, she claimed that it’s right for Nigeria to play host due to the boom the industry has recorded in recent times and she urged the government to key into the sector  by supporting it in all ramifications.



The CEO of skinologist Lilian Arigbodi , advised beauty practitioners to always be on top of their game saying that quackery should be reduced to the barest minimum. She posited that skinology is an aspect of the beauty industry that apprentices can key into.











‘’Skinology is an aspect of the sector that trains people the art of taking good care of the body’’.



She said.



The Director of Design Essential Mr Femi Niyi ,  said there are many quacks masquerading as beauticians and causing more damage on people’s body.



He added that the Beauty West Africa 2019  has a lot of packages in stock for exhibitors to go home with.



He said that a gift worth 2 million naira would be given to an exhibitor/hair stylist who distinguishes himself/herself at the venue.









Atilola Morounfolu the CEO of African Naturalistas highlighted some of the problems facing the industry in Nigeria and proffers solutions to them. She claimed that many of the problems would be solved if beauty practitioners can be meeting regularly to discuss them.



She added that her  aim is to see locally made products compete favourably with imported ones, saying local manufacturers  have a lot of work to do in terms of packaging of products.



Jamie Hill M ,B2B Event said preparation has reached final stage  to host a credible beauty exhibition in Nigeria ,saying that the 2019 edition has a lot of mouth-watering  packages that will interest exhibitors.



Africa’s largest beauty exhibition “Beauty West Africa  ‘’ will be held from 20-22 of November 2019 at the landmark event center Victoria Island Lagos.
