VIDEO: Hotels without CCTV will be sanctioned, says Hon, Kelechi Nwogu

The chairman of the Adhoc committee investigating the serial killings in the state, yesterday led members of his committee to pay a visit to the state commissioner of police Mustapha dandaura.









Hon Kelechi Nwogu said " from the time you gave the directive as the commissioner of police that hoteliers should install CCTV camera they all agreed and left.



We as an assembly would not spare those hotels that fail to comply with your directives and they will be sanctioned because if those directives were complied with we wouldn't have recorded this number of deaths " he said



Rivers people are not only interested in the arrest of Gracious David West but the arrest of all those involved in the killings, we still believe they are more.

investigations are still ongoing and called on residents of the state to avail the police with relevant information that would assist it in the fight against crime



Hon Kelechi Nwogu who expressed sadness at the killings also assured the police of the support of the Rivers state house of Assembly.
